Laminate floor is a modern product. The greatest advantage of laminate floor is that it requires low maintenance. It made to look attractive for many years with few efforts. Most of the laminate floors for residential or commercial use come with the 10 to 25 years warranty range against colour fading and stain resistance depending on the brand. You just need of a vacuum, dry mop and sometimes wet cloth to remove strong stains. Its surface is smooth so dirt and dust come out easily and it dries fast too. Nevertheless the daily walking on it with different kind of foot wear and sun raise make some destructive effects on the upper surface.

To remove large piece of sand or stone is vital to keep safe your laminate floor from visible scratches. You can control it just by putting the door mats or foot brushes at every door entrance. Dirt which absorb by door mats and foot brushes must be vacuum eventually. If you don’t do so, afterwards it would lead to the dullness of laminate floor.
For wet laminate floor cleaning you must use the composition of vinegar and water. Like you can put ¼ cup of vinegar in a 30 to 32 ounce spray empty bottle and remaining filled with water for instant cleaning. To remove oil, paint, permanent marker, rubber heel marks, use a neutral cleaner on a clean light colored cloth. If needed, use alcohol or a nail polish remover containing acetone. To remove blood, fruit juice, wine, beer, soda pop, pasta sauce, use warm water. If needed use a neutral cleaner on a light colored cloth.
Never use scrubbing stuff, rough cleaner, paste waxes or any other floor polish on the laminate floor. Marks and immovable stains can be removed with alcohol and Acetone nail polish remover easily. Felt pad should be fixed at the base of all room furniture legs. Be careful when you move the heavy home appliances and furniture over the laminate floor such as refrigerator and bed.

In case of deep scratch or damage you may call to professional installer to replace the effected plank. The new plank would be undistinguishable if installed properly.
